SciTech Incursion: Monday 11th March 2013
Today we had the amazing scientists from SciTech come and visit us! Wow it was AWESOME! We learnt about different kinds of energy, we had a chance to see a fireball (!), we were engineers and we were astronauts. Ask your children about what they learnt today  - they are very clever!

Questions we have for Akram....

The Governor and Young Australian of The Year 2013 Akram Azimi (click here for images) are visiting us at our school. This week we have been learning a lot about Akram and how he got to be Young Australian of the Year.

We sorted True and False facts about Akram, we had a drawing competition to guess what he looks like, we listened to a radio interview with him and we talked about what advice he would give us so that we can be like him.

Please come and visit our room and see the work we have done to get ready for this special visitor. We hope he visits our room today when he arrives!
